I Went through this book with nothing more than excitement and aw. Colby is the stereotypical cheerleader, normally completely unappealing to me, but somehow she managed to capture my interest and kept me rooting for her in her crusade to save herself and the future of half-blood vampires.

You won’t finish this book feeling amazed or itching for the second book.

Though some parts are pretty predictable, it was still entertaining, and perfect for a plane ride or long road trip. Her father is really something.

No trivia or quizzes yet. And not only that, her father then made her a specific fang headgear because her canines were taken out for braces when she was younger and therefore she had no canines and therefore, no fangs.

Braced to Bite

I am interesting to see how book 2 goes, i feel like i will totally hate the MC in that book since she is getting a sorority house and girls to “teach”. The fo was rushed.

It’s different and very amusing. Both authors have a smart-mouthed heroine, an annoying yet total hottie vampire hero, and a set of circumstances that makes you throw everything you ever thought was true about vampires right out the window.

I also thought it was a bit ridiculous how Colby, and her family and friends were so accepting of the fact that she was a vampire. Braced to bite brsced an easy and fast read. But when she is attacked in the woods and comes home two days later her life turns upside down.

As she digs she uncovers a conspiracy, and is offered a deal: Although the whole fangs thing is funny! She was easy to like but to me, she was also a little slow.

My favorite character is Colby because she does things her seerena way and doesn’t count on othe This book is about a perfect teenage girl named Colby who suddenly decided to walk the short way home.

She would have to carry it with her just so she can eat. This book was only pages and had a little bit of everything.

It’s another relaxing read that doesn’t take much thought – Funny and amusing, this book offers a unique look at the situation a girl gets herself into when she’s been changed into a dhampyr – a mongrel among the Vampiric society.

To The Author, This was a wonderful and exciting read, and I can’t wait to read the next book. But I just finished the second book in this series, which has me ticked off, and I have a bitch of a headache from binge-watching White Collar again so I’m gonna keep this to-the-point. She don’t know who she can trust and she is lost and confused what she should do. Book ratings by Goodreads.

I think Colby was too assuming when it comes to boys though. Her two best friends hadn’t called about her. Colby is now a vampire, with the pale, pasty skin, yellowish eyes, and thirst for blood to prove it. Even when Colby’s friend finds out what she is, she is not really fazed by it.

This is probably one of the funniest books I have read in a while. Jul 11, Carol Nicolas rated it really liked it Shelves: I really don’t have a lot to say about the book, because I don’t wa Firstly I’d give them book a 6 out of Thomas is just incredibly sexy and cute and caring.

I just wasn’t convinced at all. She has to make a case on why she has to live but has no idea what to do for it. All of the characters are well-rounded, and the fast-paced dialogue makes the book a delight to read.
