Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern (1 star ratings)
A film adaptation of the book was released in October It started to piss me off somewhere after the middle and till the end it rly rly rlyyyyy pissed me off Overall englih book was just bad. You should be with someone who could make you happy, really happy, dancing on air happy. For the film adaptation, see Love, Rosie film.
Another problem I had with this book is.
The book reached number one in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and was a best seller internationally. And I did not find it at all enjoyable.

These I liked a lot, but as for the book in general I can’t say I liked it. The characters were fine but every plot seemed to do the most for no reason.
Actually it was a huge disappointment.
It seemed like our characters had aged in no time at all — yet they still remained true to themselves, particularly Rosie. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. I literally could not wait for this book to end. You follow two main characters. Y mientras van creciendo, con mensajes de texto, correos y cartas. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. PS, I Love You. The letters were also very boring. Published by BBC Audiobooks first published The whole story is told through emails, letters, and instant messages — a really creative idea. The movie is so well done and the actors portraying Rosie and Alex Lily Collins and Sam Claflin are perfect and gave amazing performances.
I have to say that later I watched the movie, with many doubts in if it would worth to watch it, and I really loved it.
I am absolutely delighted that cecelja film adaptation has been made and cannot wait to see it, and would recommend the book for anyone who loves romance, laughter, and the durability of friendship. The only saving grace was Katie and Toby. Sam fits the character Alex pretty good I guess.
Exactly beacause whatever happens is explained this way, as a reader you only get glimpses of what really happened, since every character is extremely biased and whatev I read “PS I love you” a few months before this book and I hated it, so when my neighbour gave me “Where Rainbows End” i thought I’d give Ahern a second chance.
The book guides us through their relationship as it continues to change due to distance, new relationships and circumstances which seem determined to keep them apart. Their friendship is tested by time and circumstance, and situations become even more difficult when love starts to tangle things up.
This way of presenting a storyline was the best for a movie script but not a book. This book will simultaneously make you laugh and cry. The format didn’t bother me at all- in fact, I found it refreshing. Long story short I didn’t finish this book. I really loved Rosie, the main character who gave up her future when accidentally pregnant as a teenager. Where Rainbows End is a story told through letters, emails and instant messaging about the ever-changing relationship between the two main characters Rosie Dunne and Alex Stewart.
I liked the letters and emails thing, it was something I have never read before. I didn’t ship them together once they got to about Want to Read saving…. This book is not yet featured on Listopia.
Love, Rosie: Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern – review
Which I did like the idea of how this book was written. I’m still surprised I made it till the end. Cecleia book is written as a series of letters, emails, and messages, which initially I found quite peculiar, but soon began to adapt to and loved!
Mostly, I always wondered why the hell Alex didn’t fall for her from the first time? Hej, pravdu som mala
